Our IV drip therapy (intravenous therapy) is open to to all medics and no medical students. Requirements for the course is phlebotomy trained we also teach this.
IV drip therapy is administered via IV drip and delivers nutrients and hydration directly into the bloodstream for immediate absorption and use by the body. IV drips let the vitamins bypasses the digestive system directing it straight into the organs, resulting in a 90-100% absorption rate (as opposed to only 20-50% possible orally.
The course we will enable us look in to further details about the different types IV nutrition infusion bags available and what they are used for. We will look at the benefits of having IV infusions and who the treatments are best suited too.
The course will be predominately practical lots will learning how to connect the IV infusion on live models. You are required to bring a model.

There will be lots of hands on practical experience and at the end of the course you will receive a CPD certificate of completion. Treatments can be incorporated easily into a medical or aesthetic practice in combination with other treatments.
We will look at the complications that can arise when administering vitamin IV infusions. and what to be aware of. We will also look at all the different IV infusions available to buy.
